Quick description

ClimateIQ is an AI-powered climate risk and vulnerability platform developed by the Urban Systems Lab at The New School to make high-resolution, local climate data accessible to cities and communities. It combines physics-based models with machine learning to analyze multiple hazards, such as heat, flooding, and other climate threats, at fine spatial scales, helping users identify risk hotspots and design targeted adaptation strategies. By democratizing access to advanced climate modeling, ClimateIQ aims to empower local governments, planners, and community groups, especially those with limited resources, to make data-driven, equitable decisions for climate resilience.
